New 2007 league - GO FOR IT !!! under private league

New to online SOM except for sample trial - I've set up a league, and have probably 4 buddies interested in joining, so will need more. Anyone interested? We'll all be "rookies", but a couple, like me know SOM from board game long term. I started with '69 season, for instance. Just wanted to sample the board. Looking forward to this for diversion and just plain fun.

Glad to hear you're interested. I like the idea of live draft, but one guy wouldn't be able to do that at this time - would definitely love to try in the future though. Keep an eye on the league - I don't know how long it'll take to fill, but I'd like to go as soon as we have enough interested folks. Thanks for the quick reply.

Yup, on password. I want to make sure my 4 buddies get in - and I'm sure it'll still be a while to fill, so I'll pressure them.....a little. The one I mentioned, one of my very best friends, just had triple bypass - that's why the no live draft, so you know. He doesn't mind if we help him on the draft - his son can. So this should be a good league, and I'm glad you're interested. I'm figuring getting through the weekend to make sure we've got the guys I know on board, then I'll go into recruiting heavily on here. It is a good season. I guess basically it's up to us all individually to give out the password, right (I mean as far as a one at a time thing). If so, if you want, you're in. Let me know.

One of our interested parties is leaning on me for a live draft, and I like the idea, so we may be open. I don't know if I can change now, but then always could change leagues I suppose, rename and set that up. How long should a live draft take? Anyone available to advise me on that?

the live draft itself usually takes about 3 hours-
and if we already have 4 or 5 people it should fill in less than a week- maybe only a few days as folks tend to join when they see the league already half full.

Okay, Saltman - we're in the '06 league - how about you try this '07 also?? A good group, if I can get a few others going - want to get some guys into SOM. Some help?
