Hey guys, last year we had fun with a mini-tournament which we called
Old League Games.

Basically this was a 5 season tourney: 1 season each of the 2001,
2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 cards (all the $12.50 games). The tourney
was all autodraft, $80 mil, DH leagues and was scored just like
the Tour is (1 point for each win, 10 points for winning your division, 5
points for the wildcard, 5 points for making it to the finals and 5 points
for winning the title).

We draft a new season each month through the winter, and finish up in
the spring... great for waiting on the new 2010 season.

No big deal like the Tour or the Lotto... just 12 guys who
like the old time sets... start an Individual League Chat
thread... winner gets bragging rights!

Would you be into something like? If so, we have a few
slots still left open. It's important that participants look on this as a 5
team commitment spanning about 6 months.

Welcome aboard [b:ecfb28ac11]Keyzick[/b:ecfb28ac11] and [b:ecfb28ac11]Flpcdog[/b:ecfb28ac11]! Looking like this will be a very competitive little tourney.

[b:ecfb28ac11]Geekor[/b:ecfb28ac11], I can sympathize! The 2001 game is certainly "a horse of a different color". The trouble is, we've already got 10 managers on board under the current format. Without unanimous consent from everyone else involved, I wouldn't be comfortable changing things. Maybe [i:ecfb28ac11]you'll[/i:ecfb28ac11] change [i:ecfb28ac11]your mind[/i:ecfb28ac11] and play just one more time? There are some exceptional cards in that set and it'd be great to have you in the mix!
