2006 team balance, so what you think?

So i took the advice, tried to build to the stadium. I have 3s, 3r, 3l in my lineup and all of the s hit lefties better than righties. so....theoretically they should hit pretty good in dolphins stadium (10s 7hr for lefties, 1s 5hr for righties)

I cant do any better than nate roberson as my 5th starter, but clemens, kazmir, maddux, and cole hammels i think round out a nice 1-4....again in a lefty hitter park.

my mets bullpen, haha, goes 7,8,9 with feliciano, sanchecz and bradford closing. looper and corpas are there to get outs when my starters go short.

As for the linu-up, well, 4.8-6.9 mil 1-8 hitters is pretty balanced. what do you think, im worried about when i face a right handed pitcher with a lefty balance, but not too many of those to worry about (maybe 1 guy per team)

lineup is
carrol
furcal
bonds
holliday
tex
drew
mathews
zimmerman
schneider

anyway, have a good one, advice is always appreciated

Well since I'm in your league, first off you forgot it need the ?user_id=xxx at the end, here is the proper team link:

There are a couple of points that seem off on your logic:

Having your guys hit L better than righties, isn't the proper thing. Unless you are in a really weird league, you will typically face 70-80% RHP. In fact just a quick look at your division has only 2/12 SP being LH. You want your team to be better vs RHP over LHP, almost always.

Carrol doesn't have enough OBP to leadoff vs RH IMHO. Your Bullpen is more a hitters park bullpen (no BP HR's, slightly higher whip/TB) not the ideal for your park.

I haven't played this set in a long time, but I believe Teix and Drew will end up struggling for you, but I will let someone who isn't in your league give you better advice.

I'm not too sure if it's better advice...geekor's words of wisdom are right on.

1. With only 2 LH's in your division, you want mostly lefty hitters that hit RH's well. You have 1, Drew.
2. Carroll is a bottom of the order guy. Furcal can prolly leadoff if all else fails vs. LH's, but not RH's. Matthews could too.
3. Try and stick with 4 *SP's, or 5 non *SP's. Mixing and matching can work and be cost effective if you have a few stud hard RH's / LH's that are very cheap.
4. IMHO, you need a better closer. Someone with at least a C4 rating or better.
