I have Pedroia for the first time on my $80 AT&T Team. I'm concidering dropping him for Iwamura as I could use the nearly 3.5M elsewhere.
How do they tend to perform? Would this transaction make sense?
Mike.

Hmm... Lots of variables to that question. I wouldn't drop Pedroia if you are going to take a salary hit. He's a good player and a good fit for that park. Taking a salary hit on his 9mil salary will do more harm than good.
Now if you aren't going to take a salary hit and you want to free up some salary thats a little different. In pitchers parks I look for doubles. Fontenot (lots of doubles) will save you some money and he'll produce similar offense to Pedroia. Roberts (lots of doubles) is another nice player for AT&T. If you don't mind playing a 3 up the middle Kinsler (lots of doubles) is a great value.
From what I've seen out of Iwamura your going to be looking at something like a 280/330/390 line. Which is fine but he's a lot more "just a glove" than a lot of the alternatives. If you need offensive production I'd look elsewhere.
