This time, on ATG IV.

Looking through the pitchers, I see there (doesn't seem to be) any indication of "Closer."

Does this mean that WE designate Relief pitchers as closers in the pitching preferences?

If so, then I assume the rule of needing two "closers" in the mix is moot?

Please advise if you would.

That is correct. You could have any reliever you want be the closer in ATG.

I believe it's only the 200x games that use closer rules.
