The 2003 game is offering a free 21 game trial. It is the same as any other season start. It ends after the first week of play. Hey the price is right.

Are you sure this is still in effect. This was a while ago. Maybe new players can still do it.

For what it's worth, this does actually work. Our freebie 2003 league started on Monday. Check out my team:

I actually wish TSN would do this for the 2007 season so people could try it with the super-HAL bullpen, better stats, and the newer interfaces. I think it would really help in recruiting new players. It's sometimes hard to get guys to pony up $25 to get killed in their first league. A 21 game trial gets folks used to the rules, the autodraft, waivers, etc. I bet this would help a lot of people.

Click on rules/FAQ on the left side of the page.

In the second section of the FAQ breakdown by topic, under where it says "signing up" you see a link for free trial teams.
