Can anyone share what this means on the ratings disk?

Yup, it refers to Strats cards, with nothing in the column, players are in the main card set and will most likely appear in the TSN version of the game.

An M in the column means they are in the supplemental player card set for the board game and may or may not be available in TSN's game depening on innings pitched for pitchers (usually over 25), at bats for hitters (usually over 100 unless a cather, then it can be lower), and overall performance (if the card is too good TSN may elect to exclude it reguardless of ip's or ab's, ala Nelson Cruz last year).

If there is an X in the column they are CD-ROM only players and will not appear in TSN's game.

Also keep in mind, that players who were traded between leagues during the season will have 3 sets of ratings on the spreadsheet, 1 for their American league team, one for their National league teams and a combined card. Sometimes, if they have too few ab's or ip's with one of the teams that card will have an X.
The first thing I do when I get the ratings sheet is sort alphbetically by last name and delete all the single team cards for these players and only keep the combined cards.

Hope this helps.
