CD Version of Strat.

I have only been playing the online (SPN) strat leagues. I am intersted in buying the CD. However, I would want to play over the internet. Are there many opportunities (leagues) out there? If so, how does it usually work----number of games played per day, how played, general experience with the format etc. ..................Dennis
