2009 Players Who Remain on the FA

Patterns already emerging.
Scott Rolen looks like a lock to be unused most of the time. Few LH starters, combined with 3L balance, injury risk, and steep price tag.
RH Power hitters abound on the FA, particularly 1B.
Mauer won't get picked in every league. in one of mine, he is still on the FA. Surprisingly, considering that the league is 2/3 small ball parks.
Best LH power hitter always left on the FA: Adam LaRoche. Just like real life.....has power but doesn't excel at BA or OBP, doesn't hit lefties well. If he is batting 7th in your lineup, you probably will be scoring alot of runs.
