Hi! I'm Adrian and I run Diamond Dope.

Diamond Dope is now hosting 2009 drafts (regular and "unleashed").

The default login and password is your user name (e.g. user name: agabriel; password: agabriel). [b:1639f35ef0]If you have not played ATG, I have not captured your user name so you probably cannot login.[/b:1639f35ef0]

If you are unable to login, send me a PM--it will serve as user name verification ([i:1639f35ef0]it's important that the app uses your accurate TSN User Name.[/i:1639f35ef0]) I will get you added asap.

You can email diamonddope@gmail.com to alert me to a PM.

There isn't much in the way of documentation, but the site is meant to mimic the look and feel of the TSN site. The proxy logic is similar to somdraft.com's. Managers who've already done some ATG drafts should be able to answer most functional questions about how the draft application works.

That's correct. MajorDeegan stopped updating somdraft.com before ATG 5. That's what prompted me to build the draft functionality into Diamond Dope.

You may attempt to login and be redirected to the login screen, without getting an error message. I've seen some weirdness--I think with cached content filtering systems--that cause this to happen. To see your active drafts, you may need to click on this link: http://diamonddope.com/draft.cfm?draftact=home.

Any chance you can explain the proxy system? I assume selecting 2 or more players and putting them in a group (example:1) will delete any proxy you have from that same group, correct? And "pri"? Is that an abbreviation for primary, and an actual listing of the order you wish to receive?

Is this a correct scenario:

5 players proxied:
Ramirez - group 1, pri 1
Tulowizki - group 1, pri 2
Pujols - group 2, pri 3
Mauer - group 2, pri 4
Jeter - group 1, pri 5

If I get Ramirez: Tulowizki is canceled out, Pujols is my #1 proxy
If Ramirez and Mauer are picked, Tulowizki is my #1 proxy
If Ramirez, Tulowizki are picked, Pujols is my #1 proxy in spite of Jeter being in the group 1, since he is pri 5?

Sure, there's Group, Pri.--Priority within the group, and Remove if Group Picked.

Given your scenario--with the added "Remove" option, proxies would fire thusly:

Ramirez - Group 1, Pri. 1, Remove N
Tulowitzki - Group 1, Pri. 2, Remove Y
Jeter - Group 1, Pri. 5 (could be 3), Remove Y
Pujols - Group 2, Pri. 3 (could be 1), Remove N
Mauer - Group 2, Pri. 4 (could be 2), Remove N
Greinke - Group 3, Pri. 0, Remove N
Lincecum - Group 3, Pri. 1, Remove Y

If Ramirez is there, you get him and Tulowitzki and Jeter are removed. If Ramirez is gone, you get Tulowitzki and Jeter is removed. If Ramirez and Tulowitzki are not there, you get Jeter. After that, you'd get both Pujols and Mauer if they were there. After Mauer, your pick would be Greinke or Lincecum, if either's available.

I hope that helps.

Kind of. So even though Jeter is a SS, I don't want to include him in group 1 if in fact if I don't get my 1st 2 choices. The 3rd preference would be to move in a different direction, instead of SS. So at this point, I'd want to move Jeter to group 2, coupling him with Pujols and Mauer, but the 3rd priority in that group?
