0-51 -- Unbelievable!

When I spent $4.82M on David DeJesus, I wasn't expecting this:

.........an 0-51 Hitting Drought! Over a 22 game period, he had no hits (missed 9 games due to injuries/spot platooning).

Luckily he went 1-4 last night with a Ballpark single in his third At Bat.

Anyone else have a player of this caliber go through something like this? DeJesus is batting .143 right now. Nice!!

Do they track "Anti-Hitting" streaks on the Leader Boards?

Sam Fuld went 42 hitless AB's for me this season as well. I thought that mark would never be beat. So...congrats?

I have Fuld on some other teams. 0-42 frightens me! I might be looking to trade him before people read this.

In the meantime, DeJesus has rallied. He's up to .180. Incidentally, he's 3rd on my team in RBIs. How sad is that?

This team has Bay hitting .181/.295/.391 after 126 games, but perhaps the most interesting stats within this team are the following from...well, I let you guess:

After 126 games
113 games played
.106/ .125 /.130 (ouch!)
376 AB
18 rbis
9 runs scored (!!!)
40 hits
39 errors
108 K (!!!!!)

Marcus....you win! What kind of Theme League from He!! are you in with that team? Even in Petco, I guess the Bay numbers are probably the most pathetic of the bunch considering he's playing vs. $60M pitching.

Again....touche' with the one-up. :D

BTW, Pena is outperforming his real-life stats! You have to feel good about that.

Kev,

This is not my team, and I guess I should apologize to charlie from this lack of etiquette. Still, this team impresses with its number of weird stats.

1- Bay lethargy.
2- Pena stats
3- O'Day stats: 15 saves, 2 BS, 10.2 IP

Pena stats are interesting in that I always wonder what would be the stats of a player with no hit on. But Pena's stats are so low that I suspect that some equalizer apply and remove hits from his results.

Wow, that team is a mess. Is Moeller DH'ing?

This HAS to be a theme league...right?

Actually, I think Charlie should be the one apologizing for that team. I recall when the game first came out, someone said it was ridiculous to even have a card for Pena Jr as no one would ever take him. Well, that person stands corrected. Talk about a slap in the face to Pena Jr......at least the Pitchers Hitter Card #1 has a Walk on it.
