Some of us bust on HAL a good bit here on the ol' forum page ( I am one of the worst offenders) so I felt that it was only fair to give him his props.

I am using Guardado in a very specialized role since there are some strong Shea teamsin the league. Set him up as the closer v. lefties(at maximize), on avoid righties and for once HAL seems to really be following orders. In 17 appearances he's only pitched 8 innings, with a stellar 1.04 era. HAL actually pulls him out when the righties come in.

Now, some may say that $3.53 mil. is too much for a guy who has only made 17 appaerances in 75 games--and some may be right. However, for the moment I'm faring pretty well, and there really isn't much I could do with the money now anyway.

Cheers HAL for getting it right :D (for once :o )

Hey that's cool. No, I don't think that's too much money. You could have had a cheaper pitcher in there and he could have blown it. Sometimes you gotta spend the money. I have lots invested in Gordon and Rivera but they do the job. Sometimes you gotta spend the money.

What is the ratio of lefty batters faced to righty batters faced by Guardado?
