Obviously on the surface it looks unfair. IMO, however, there's one way it could be fair and that's if it was "pre-waivers" and the team with $20mil in salaries wanted to unload those guys to free up cash for waivers. If that's not the case I would say unfair, but it's sill tricky.

after game 132 in the season!! One of the teams is in my division, one is not.

140m cap -- most teams have between 5 & 15 m left..

Wow! Are you kidding me??? That's NOT looking like a reasonable trade to me.

After game 132?

What are the records of the two teams? Particularly the one that got the $20mil in players.

How could one of the teams have had 12M in cap room after game 132? :?

ok, under those circumstances it is unfair.

That's one of the reasons 140mil or 200mil leagues just don't make sense. Not for 200X leagues.

Tom, clearly there is no purpose to this trade except to help a buddy slam his way into the playoffs. It would be helpful to know what their records are. Regardless, it's clearly unfair and I would be blackballing both guys for future leagues.

I think both teams are about 63-69, one is 10 games out (received the 20m +) and one is 15 games out (received the 8m+) - both are about 6 games out from the wildcard, just didn't make alot of sense to me. (maybe one is the BIG brother & the other the "little" brother) :)

Players doing this need to be outed. Both parties as well. Anyone accepting such a trade is just as guilty. I don't think too many folks want to be associated with either of these guys moving foward. Not posting the names does an injustice to this community. They can always defend themselves on the board if they feel the need.
