Do switch hitter batters auto switch pending on wht handed pitcher they are facing?

I noticed I has switch hitter batter going against Lefty who was 4L and based on dice roll - my batter batted lefty even though he is switch hitter.

Is there something I can set so my switch hitter batters can take advantage of being switch hitters and bat lefty or righty depending on whatever gives them best matchup

Switch hitters will always bat opposite of the picher (bat RH vs LHP and LH vs RHP) no matter which way the pitcher is strongest. It is possible that your hitter was doing something else like H&R or bunt attempt rather than simply batting.
