Starting Pitchers for Billy's Buffaloes Want Out

Despite their team occupying first place in their division all season, all four starting pitchers have asked to be traded. This is in protest to manager Buffalo Bill yet again pulling the starter in the middle of the fifth inning, seemingly on a whim.

J.A. Happ was the latest victim of Bill's hair trigger when he was replaced with one out in the fifth and a lone base runner on first. When asked about it at the press conference after the game, Bill said, "I'm smarter than you carbon-based life forms and you wouldn't understand." We can at least agree on his last point.

==========

Seriously, HAL seems to be a lot faster to pull my starters this season. I have no settings for any of them under [i:770ac4f102]Pitcher prefs[/i:770ac4f102]. I know I could stop this behavior by having HAL not relieve before F8, but in my opinion the cure would be worse.

Also, I'm not necessarily upset about this, but I thought I would have some fun with it with this post.

Do you have your bullpen set to "normal" or "aggressive"?

I have also found out that if you don't specify a "middle man" under pitcher prefs, he's less likely to ever bring one in. So, if you want your starters in longer, just don't list a middle man.

Wow apolivka. Interesting. I will try that.

My only concern in the past has been that I didn't want to leave it to HAL to decide who to send in if my starter doesn't last more than, let's say, five innings.

Thanks,
