My personal Hall of Shame............

A while back I posted something about my bad luck in post season. It hasn't gotten any better.
Can anyone match my recent personal level of Post Season patheticness??
I've had pretty good luck making my share of playoff appearances. However, what's up with this?

[u:e31f16b0bd]Last 27 Playoff Appearances[/u:e31f16b0bd]
10 World Series appearances (17 1st round exits)
1 World Series Title

1 for the last 27!!!??? When do the percentages kick in?
Ironically, my 1 World Series win was from a 82-80 team who snuck into the playoffs as a wildcard on a tiebreaker in the ever-competitive Voyager league.
Why do I continue the madness?

Wow...thought I was snake bit.

60 teams with 30 playoff appearances, great right. Not so great.

Of the seasons that carried over from my Old__ToriiHunter days (some luckless teams are missing):

45 teams, 18 playoffs = 40% (vs. avg of 33%) :D
18 playoffs, 3 champs = 17% (vs. avg of 25%) :?
18 playoffs, 6 runner-ups = 33% (vs. avg of 25%) :D

Total credits to be won in 18 playoffs = 54
Average credits won by a playoff participant = .75 per playoff appearance
Therefore, 18 playoffs x .75 = 13.5 credits should be won
Actual credits won: 12

So...things aren't as bad as I thought. I'm missing 1.5 credits vs. the "average". This math is a good way to see really how much the game has screwed you over. Kev, you may be a "winner" in terms of losing.

One step further:

Credits to win per 12 teams = .25
45 teams x .25 = 11.25 credits expected to win
Actual credits won: 12

I'm ahead of the curve!

It's fun to do this math for yourself - it can also be disheartening, too.
