The price HAL makes me pay for not having enough 1B
Posted: Fri Jun 18, 2010 12:35 pmNick Johnson-2003- is high injury. My only other 1b is Fullmer, my dh and also high injury. When Johnson gets hurt (often) HAL takes a "perfectly good" lf (Jordan 2 or Giles 3) and moves him to 1b where he'll be a 5 e25 & then brings in Prince, my back up catcher, to play lf as a 5 e 25?- Last night this happened in the 2nd in-of course 4 in later the ball found Prince in lf, all confused and apparently wearing his catching gear, with 2 men on. When the dust cleared, we found that the batter was credited with a triple, scoring on an additional error on the play, that our 5 run lead had disintegrated to 2 runs, and that Prince sprawled on the ground near the warning track asking for help getting up!-This is fun for me- I never know what is going to happen next!javascript:emoticon(':lol:')
