no balks = flawed game engine

I'm in the middle (60 games) of my third 2009 season. Season one: no balks by any pitcher on any team. Season two: ditto. Season three: ditto. That's nearly 40,000 IP -- more than 150,000 dice rolls.
I don't care about balks, but I do care about the game engine. This is clearly a flaw in the game engine -- and when there's one, there's probably more. Bernie's team really needs to look into this, solve it, and figure out if it has implications for other aspects of the game engine's reliability.

EDITED: fizzzle....splat. Missed that one completely, was expecting a huge flame war...
Glad to see that the boards are mellowing :-)
Happy Father's Day Gents!

Indeed it is a flaw that there have been no balks this season. It's being looked into and will be addressed as soon as possible.

I'm really not trying to start anything here either. Flame wars get rather tedious. But, the last two no-DH leagues I finished had ZERO pitcher HRs hit. I find that highly unlikely.
Has anyone finished a league recently where there were some Pitcher HRs? Maybe it was just luck.

Why would there be a flame war? I'm not saying anything controversial. I don't care if there are balks -- if SOM announced, "From now on, there will be no more balks," I'd leave it to others to debate. I don't care. The point is, the game is designed to have balks, and if there aren't any, that means there's something wrong with the game engine. I DO care if there's something wrong with the game engine.
