Hal..we need to talk

you seem to be particularly out of sorts lately. I think you have some deep seated code issues...but Im not that type of expert.

I do want to know why you will not allow me to alter my lineup to accommodate for injuries.

I have a team where both Sanchez and Punto are down for 10+ games. My only other rated 2b is Coghlan. I try to move him from DH to 2B in my lineups and hit save only to see him back at DH and Sanchez at 2B. I have tried leaving the DH spot blank and with a bench player inserted at DH...neither worked.

talk to me Hal....

is there a link to the old lineup interface? Try using that. I've had that problem modifying my lineup in the 70s game and using the old interface works fine.

Just to be clear, are you saying that when you hit save on the lineup screen, you immediately see that it didn't save your changes properly? I'm just confused because you referred to "Hal", which is usually used to refer to the in-game manager A.I.

There's no reason any interfaces on the website would suddenly stop working when it's worked for you before... unless you switched browsers recently or something. Though as far as I know, the lineups interface works in all major browsers (although I do admit that the '70s game, in particular, has problems with IE).

Bernie,

there is definitively a glitch with the lineup card, not only with IE (I use Firefox). When trying to save a new lineup where I left the dh spot purposely blanked, the computer automatically saves it back to the last lineup. I suspect this is what splinter did. He first tried to put Coghlan away from dh into the 2b spot, leaving the dh spot open, which prompted him back to his old lineup when he hit the save button.

I use firefox and I have had times where in the 70s game using the new interface, you make changes to your lineup and the changes don't save, the original lineup is still there. The only way to change it is to use the link to the original interface.
Sometimes it works fine though. I haven't figured out if there are any particular changes that cause it not to work. It is to the point where I don't bother using it and just use the old interface, which I like better anyway.

I don't really play ATG or 200X so I don't know if it's the same exact problem, but it sounds like it could be the same issue.
