Santana (2003) started by striking out the side in the 1st before giving up 3 runs in the second. Santana ended the top of the 5th with his 8th K, still trailing 3-0. We tied the score in the bottom of the 5th, but when Santana loaded the bases with 2 outs (K's), Hal brought in Gagne who kept the game tied with a K. Gagne stayed in for another 8 outs (K's) while we took the lead in the bottom of the 8th. Hal brought in Remlinger for the last out in the 9th. 3 pitchers for a total of 19 K's. And this was game # 151, between 1st and 2nd place teams, separated by one game!
