Alabama White Pride #1 is not the political way of handling your slanted viewpoint. It's ashame, the history of baseball has those moments and I'd like to think in the 21st century we don't have to relive the negative aspects of our national pasttime or nation's history.[/b:82d1f693a2]

I googled the name and took a look at his ATG4 roster. At a quick glance, it looks like he carefully chose his players.

I was in a league with him once and tried to trade him Hank Aaron because as I told him Hank was from Bama. He politely declined.

He obviously lives in a delusional world filled with hate and ignorance...his loss.

I know that the vast majority of all people have moved on from these issues but we will never completely elliminate hate and stupidity. With todays ability to reach the masses these minority of thinkers get to have an overblown platform from which to spew their garbage. Makes them look and feel bigger than they really are...again ...delusional.

For the most part I ignore them with the exception that they serve to remind me of the need to be constantly vigal against ignorance in all forms.

I got to admit I laughed at him declining Hank and picking all white players in ATG.

But I agree he is over the line. I can imagine a black owner saying to himself, "Geese, I can't even avoid this sh*t in Strat-o-matic."


I thought I might catch some heat for naming one of my teams the "Bible Belt Raptor Riders". :) But I only named it that because someone in my division has the name "Big Bang Theorist."

I guess the only response is to hang a 100-loss season on him/her! I rarely come across such extremism these days. This is a reminder that we need to stay diligent and keep an eye out for such foolishness.
