Rookie Team Help...

This is my first league,
How does this team look, Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I've heard alot about this game and am looking forward to playing.


SP- Schmidt, Clement, Arroyo, Webb, Lowry
RP- Milton, Lidge, Mecir, Julio and Graves

1B- Konerko/Phelps
2B- Bellhorn
ss- Tejada
3B- Blalock
DH - E.Martinez/D. Ward
Rf- Abreu
Cf- Figgins
Lf- Roberts/Encarnacion
C- Mauer/Matheny

Hard to say without knowing what ball park you are in. Milton is not a relief pitcher.

Bellhorn will kill you with his defense. You really need a 1 or 2 defensively in CF. You need a better backup C because Mauer, who has a great card vs RHP, will be injured a lot. I would not platoon Konerko at 1B.

he is making alot of the same mistakes that most 1st timers do...gioing with all offense...disregarding def..esp at 2b.....and cf.........

there is a reason why its so difficult to get casttillo and izturis....

my first team had soriano at 2nd grissom in cf and ugh sosa at dh cut those three after 15 games and miraculously ended up with 80 wins now of course i realize that grissom is a heck of a rh dh but the other two are basically useless
