Ihad no idea how bad it would get when the computer pulled Tom Glavine in the 3rd inning of a 2001 game after he struggled thru a 7 run third inning. Would you believe 4 relievers and a final thrashing of 36-1. I've never seen 36 before, I thought runners would be too tired to get that far,but 34 hits and 10 walks can put you in that kind of hole. Has anyone else seen a 36 run effort before, or do the Pizza Pies have claim to a strat record?

At least the outcome was never in doubt. Better than losing a no-hitter 1-0 in ten innings on a wild pitch. Just another season full of low points.
Is there a place to check strat records like the 36 runs in a game, or other performances by season or game? I am interested in the record for team home runs in the 2003 season especially.

I scored 39 in an '03 game once. But, I don't think that was even the record.
