was hoping to have a strong righty favoring slugging stadium. last one was in 2006 (?). Minute Maid Field was the place I believe. Boy was that an awesome year for me on multiple teams.
I'd like to see a bit more variety, rather then multiple stadiums having the same exact singles or HR rating. At least it is a bit more varied for 2010 then 2009.
Personally I'm looking at US Cell and Miller Par. Gotta go for the strong differentials and build your team around that. Its a make or break strategy though.
I've tried strong singles rating and weak HR rating, ie Target Field type parks before, and it just doesn't get it done. It takes 4 singles to score a run, vs. 1 HR to score a run. The defensive oriented parks are difficult to win in, and I find it often handicaps my teams batters more then it helps my pitchers.
My number one strategy is HR allowed vs. HR hit. That's how you score runs baby. Leading in 2b and BB doesn't hurt either, but you gotta start somewhere and thats HR.
