Ah! At first I thought you were saying he hit eight HRs in eight consecutive ABs! Now I see what you were talking about regarding who's batting in front of him. He hit eight HRs so far, but they were each solo shots in spite of having two quality guys batting in front of him.

That sounds suspiciously like a "Cubbie occurrence."
