Eligibility for batting title

What is required to be eligible for the batting title? Do your at bats need be greater than [b:b66ddc197b]3.1 times number of games played[/b:b66ddc197b]?

I'm trying to get Don Slaught enough at bats. It will be interesting if he can make it with a BA over .400.
