I hate to give away secrets, but I say YES! Check out his performance so far on two active teams;

Name; Price, BA, OBP, RBI
Herrera; 2.00, .278, .347, 55 (leads team in BA, 2nd in RBI)
Tulowitzki; 8.27, .271, .362, 46
McCutcheon; 6.85, .230, .320, 77
Gardner; 6.97, .217, .320, 26
J. Upton; 6.20, .203, .292, 49

2nd team;
Herrera; 2.00, .266, .334, 41
Braun; 5.88, .271, .336, 62
Swisher; 5.71, .228, .313, n/a*
J. Jay; 3.95, .258, .320, n/a*
*traded for mid year.

A $2.00 million player who is competitive with players 2 to 4 times his cost??? And plays excellent defense (2e14), good speed and rarely injured??? This guy is golden.

I don't know if he's performing well in other leagues but he's hitting .199 with a .265 slugging pct. in our league.

He hit .251/.343/.309 for me at Target. I would say pretty good value for me. Pretty much all singles, of course, but he can play 3 positions which adds to his value on many teams.
