I just traded Adam Dunn, Yovonni Gallardo, and Adam Everett for Felix Hernandez...Now I have a very good staff and bull pen. But as Steven A Smith would say..However, after reviewing my team I might not be able to score enough runs....We are at the point in the season the 20% penalty kicks in...Here is a link to my team, in 2nd place right now....Should I make any changes or just ride it out at this time...

any suggestions would be welcomed....

Thanks,
Dale

My only concern is your infield defense. Could lose some games late in games

I thought this thread was going to be about the entire 2010 season. I've never seen so much pitching and so little hitting in SOM. Of course I have yet to play the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

Anyways, I was wondering who was available in your league through free agency? Anyone you got your eye on?

You can't win the regular season with a great pitching staff and way less money on hitting. If you can make it to the post season then you have a chance. I have spent big money on pitching and have have never done well with that. You just watch your team loose the close ones and loose all the games that one team scores 5 or more runs.

Yes, a .318 OBP with not much power to boot will eventually catch up to you. At the least, get rid of one (or two) of your closers and try to pick up some hitting. And, depending on who is out there, you may also want to downgrade one of your starters.
