What exactly does this mean? Setting the earliest inning in which to have your infield play in.

I understand in real world baseball, its to turn the double play right? But in Strat, what does it mean? I thought I read somewhere, it turns a lineout into a hit, or something like that.

So what setting do you normally use? I usually leave it at default 3rd innning. Just wondering it this has any impact on having so many 1 run losses. It seems, looking at the Expected W/L record, that it tends to reflect your W/L pretty accurately except the 1 run games can sway your record rather significantly too.

Just looking for some insight from you great Strat minds!

I don't mess with the infield in much at all. When the infield is in then a GB-A+ turns into a single. My guess is if the infield is in and you get a ground ball the runner on third will be thrown out at home. It would probaly be better to have the infield in earlier if you were in a pitchers park as runs are more important there but you will also give up a single on a GB-A+ if the runner is being held on base.

I usually play in hitter's parks. I set it to the 5th inning.
