Value Pitchers

Of course a lot depends on the park you play in, but who is a "value" SP you have used. I have found that Jon Garland and Derek Lowe have done well in the right parks.

Derek Holland is one of the best "match up" starters in the set, and at just over a million, he's a great value at quite a few parks. Strasburg is expensive, but I've seen him put up monster numbers pretty much every time. Greinke seems to always pitch great too for under 4M.

Andy Pettitte was surprisingly good for me at home for me in Angels Stadium: 2.66 ERA/1.14 WHIP (not as good on the road)

I got 20 and 16 wins out of Jeremy Guthrie on the first two teams I had him on. ERA was just over 4.00 with 291 and 277 IP (one team was playing in Petco).

Pretty good bang for the buck, had some other good LH Starters with real good numbers in Miller Park
I had Francisco Liriano on two different teams and he put up good numbers
