I see more and more players using only 4 *SP. Is this the "best" way to go? Do you need four really good *SP to make that work. I am debating using that strategy in Petco Park. However, the stud *SP are already taken in the draft. Basically the best available now are Meyers, Rodriguez, Greinke, Lincecum...

Just trying to learn how the players with more experience play. Any thoughts would be welcome.

I use either strategy. I probably luse the 4 *SP more often but not always. Generally you can save some money by going with the 4 *SP and a 50¢ SP that never pitches. You could then spend the extra on RP or better hitting. It just depends on how I build my teams.

In the 2010 set there do seem to be more options to create a 4 *SP rotation. Another option I like is to use 2 stud *SPs and then 3 (or more) cheaper SPs to match against the opponent/ballpark.
