I'd like to try something different that isnt too complicated but not the usual two team theme league type of theme. When you sign up please list your preference of 80mil or 100mil salary league and majority wins with my vote abstained.

Here is how it works:

1. 2010 set (not unleashed), DH, 80 or 100 mil salary cap, waivers, 10% drop penalty.

2. 6 round serpentine draft (order determined by randomizer based upon your sign in number)

3. Place the six players you acquired at the bottom of your draft card when you go to draft your team via autodraft.

4. Only Non asterisk starting pitchers allowed in league.

5. The players that you select in the six round draft must remain on your team all season and start every game other than due to injury.

6. There are six rounds of drafting. One of the rounds will be the top 12 priced Non * SP, another round is the top 12 priced RP Only, another round is the top 12 priced Outfielders, another round is the top 12 priced Middle Infielders, another round is the top 12 priced Corner Infielders and the other round is the top 12 priced catchers.

7. Whoever has the first pick of Round One gets to select any category they like. If they select Outfielders they choose one of the outfielders on the list and everyone else selects an outfielder in turn. Whoever selects last in Round One then selects a category to start Round Two and makes their pick and so on...

All players positions are primary positions ie Bautista is listed as an outfielder primarily, third base secondarily so he is an outfielder in this league.

Ok, so nobody likes this format. I love theme leagues but there seem to be four or five types and thats all. Lets all try something new and different. Tired of 2 team, 12 angry men, iron glove, screw your neighbor, Pick a team based upon choosing a letter for the last name, etc.

Somebody else come up with something unique or at least different enough that it is interesting and new!

Eddie, there's still a couple of my theme leagues I haven't done yet this season, however, there doesn't appear to be enough interest in theme leagues anymore. The last one I tried didn't fill up, even after doing it for several seasons.

I agree. 2-team theme leagues are old and tried. But, alas there's not as much interswt anymore for theme leagues. Maybe people don't want the challenge or to hurt their win percentage.
