I am curious to hear who you guys have used in that 5th starter role in the 4 man rotation to get the necessary 5 SP.

I like to make sure they are a SP/RP so I can use them in mostly mop up work but other spot appearances.

I have had tons of success with Andy Sonnanstine.

Who have you all had success with?

Brad Thomas in Fenway, 2.43 ERA in 50 innings of work

I have had Arietta, Laffey and Volquez win 12+

Brad Thomas and Mike Leake have worked out well for me in a mop-up role.
