I was one inch away from making this guy my starting center fielder (in a platoon with Cameron) in a 60M dollar league.
This guy has the best stealing card in history: *2-8,11,12/- (20-16) This is better than any Henderson card or the 100+ steals Vince Coleman card.
He's a Normal lefty, with 7.3 point of triples on his card. He's a 2(-1)e22 in CF. Too bad he doesn't have a few more walks or singles on his card to really take advantage of that stealing rating.
The errors scared me, of course, and ultimately the fact that my park really favors lefties with power did him in for me. No bp singles is an
issue too for my park.
I really thought someone would pick and use him in a 60M league, and ultimately I hope someone does give him a try. Even with his very mediocre card, I bet he could easily hit 20+ triples and steal
about 60 bases for 1.5 million. Has anyone out there ever used him?

I have a platoon of Thole and V. Martinez at catcher and for the life of me I can't get either one to come in when the RP comes in. I am leary of platoons anymore. Have both set for avoid yet they don't. If Dyson stays in there against LHP stay away from the 1,2 and 3 roll!

I'm flabbergasted that a guy could be a lefty hitter, the fastest player in baseball, strike out in one of every three at-bats, and [i:10624e55eb]still[/i:10624e55eb] ground into a whole bunch of double plays.

I just looked hard at his card after your post. This guy is a straight pull hitter to 1st and 2nd base. Look at all his GB 2b and 1b. His triples must have come from the 1st baseman not covering the line and he strolled into 3rd with a triple.

I had him starting in a platoon for most of the season on this team that somehow ended up winning the championship. I'm not sure how he got caught stealing 17 times....

About what I expected: 17 triples and 54 SBs in 383 at bats. I'm amazed he also hit 11 dingers at Petco.
You and HAL did a GREAT job with that platoon. His L/R AB split was 38/345. His good way he went .246/.343/.501 at Petco which in a more favorable park could be really nice for 1.5 million. And your team won the title, so he couldn't have hurt that team too much with his errors. I do think, however, his sweet spot would be in a 60M league.

I have used him more than a few times in platoons with Crisp, mostly as leadoff hitters. Here are some results:
http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/stratomatic/team/team_other.html?user_id=332018
321 58 92 20 7 15 41 27 61 13 3 2 .287 .341 .533
362 57 87 21 15 9 28 38 118 32 2 12 .240 .313 .456
Coco subbed at DH a little vs RHP's, but pretty nice combined stat:
115R's, 41D's, 22T's, 24 HR's, 69 RBI, 45 of 50 SB's-Best CF in the set.
Dyson scores more than you would think due to speed and Xtrabase hits.
Here is one not so good:

Another nice Dyson/Crisp Combo:

I have used him multiple times in $80M leagues as a platoon/starter and $200M leagues as a backup/PR. As a PR & backup CF he's been great. In the $80M his lack of OB is exposed, but I have never found the errors to be a problem, and the speed is obviously killer. Also, in a pitcher park his natural XBH make up a lot for the lack of OB.
