No one on one play here. You join a 12 or 24 team league.

Sweetlou, this is not like a matchmaking site for the CD-ROM game . . . it's fully online, with salaries and player sets already set. There's a lot of different game types too . . . single season (like 2010, 1969, or 1986) All Time Greats (ATG, featuring players from throughout the history of baseball) and mystery card games (70's, 80's, 90's) where you draft players but are uncertain which season of five different possibilities you will get.

Each game type is fun and has its advantages and disadvantages. If you want to play with a friend, get them to join (and there's still a promo I believe for you both to get discounts this way) and make a league that they can join. You can password protect if you like, but then if you want to make it public later you will have to email support or post on the message boards.

Good luck!

then ask a vet to "adopt" you...to help you with the ins and outs of the on line game. This can make those 2 teams work better making it a more enjoyable and thus repeatable experience

.......but don't ask Splinter to adopt you. You will end up living under the porch and fed bread crumbs and cheap whiskey.

However, if you got a few bucks, come join us in a couple leagues.
