Posted: Mon Oct 17, 2011 11:03 amI was a big Brewer fan back in the 70s and 80s. The '82 Bambi Bombers were disappointing in the series. Lost to a bunch of Cardinals banjo hitters if I recall.
Fast forward about 30 years.......lost to the freakin' Cardinals again!
Since I don't care about either team in the WS, I will have to root for the Rangers to win their first one ever! Boo Cardinals!

Seems like Careers are getting shorter though, because 30,31 didnt used to be considered old for a ball player- used to be 30 was still considered a prime year.
