Tyler Colvin, the new "Mr. October" with 9 playoff HRs

Despite the fact that he is, indeed, a Cub, Tyler Colvin went nuts for me in the playoffs that just finished last night. Hmm, I think this link should work:

In 13 games, Colvin went deep 9 times to help my team win the title. He also dropped in 3 doubles and 2 triples for 54 total bases and an OPS of 1.655. Only six of his 20 post season hits weren't for extra bases. I'm pretty sure 9 HRs would be an MLB record for post season homers--and they usually play a lot more games.

However, I'm sure there is some ATG league where three guys hit 12 or more or something... :)

Barry (2002) and Beltran (2004) had 8.

Nelson Cruz needs 3 more in the WS for 9.
