If we buy now, can we use these credits in the 2011 game, as we can with credits won in the playoffs?

Huh???

If I have two remaining credits, these new five wouldn't add up to seven?

Sure! We've never done this differently with these sales.

I'm not how you interpreted it this way, but trying to clarify: if you currently have 2 unused credits remaining, and you buy a new 5-pack at the sale price, then you'll have 7. The excerpt you quoted is telling you explicitly how to do this.

I interpreted it the same was as Artie 412 did.

I think what Bernie was trying to say is typically when we click start a new team it does not give us the option of buying more credits if we already have credits. That is why Bernie provided a direct link to purchase new credits.

I just hope these holiday sales are back on a regular basis.

It would be even better if this were the regular everyday price.

just my 2 cents...
