Now that everybody is feeling all warm and fuzzy with the Luckyman thread, I figured we could all use some laughter in our day.
BTW- Luckyman was a very helpful person. So no disrespect to him.
On to Frank M. I've had the displeasure of knowing Frank for 27 years. We met @ Hofstra in 1984. I initally thought he was a janitor in one of Hofstra's building, till I saw him following us to class.
He sat in the back of the classrooms with me and my football friends. Which BTW, wasn't a smart thing for him since he's 4' tall. If you've ever heard the saying "Knee high to a grasshopper", please think of Frank. He's that tall.
Lemme put it another way for us baseball guys here. He makes Eddie Gaedel look like Andre the Giant. Wee Willie Keeler had 4 feet on him.
In basketball terms...think of Spud Webb. Then cut him in half. That's Frank's height.
I could go on forever about his height, but I couldn't leave out his calloused knuckles. They got that way from dragging on the floor. It's the only part of his body NOT covered in layers of hair.
His wife is an angel. How he got her, IDK. Oh wait...he clubbed her and then dragged her back home.
Frank is extremely gullible. Nice guy but very gullible. Once when we were freshmen at Hofstra, we fooled him into believing one of my friends was an East German exchange student. I'll never forget when he met him. We went to his family's pizza place and told him who this guy was and slowly with more volume Frank asks "SO IS THE PIZZA GOOD?"
That joke lasted about 4 years btw...
Lastly, all kidding around aside. Frank is a very knowledgeable Strat guy. He's played this game for years. He also played the board game many years ago. He told me he use to put Hal Richmond on his knee when Hal was a little kid. Though I'm not exactly sure why...
Thanks folks...I'll be here all week.
