I think I must have got it so wrong with this team.....Lucky to win 1 of 3 each night.

Is there anything anyone would suggest to help this mess I call a team? It is a 10% penalty league so minor changes wouldn't hurt too bad I guess.

All suggestions/criticisms welcome....

Dale

If it were my team, I would let go one of my right handed relief pitchers and put the money toward a better left fielder. That being said. You are in a division where the other three teams are leading the league in run production. One of those teams being mine. It's early in the season, don't panic yet. Maybe in another week.

Sorry but I think this a weak team.

Not a fan of Zumyaya, Barajas,Polanco,Cunningham. I like Mc cutcheon but over priced. 20 and a half million dollers tied up in these guys and you might be able to do better but dont know whats available.

I'm not a big fan of dumping $ on pitching when playing in a pitcher's park. In your case you have one too many RP's that are over $3. In a pitcher's park you can get away with one set-up, one closer and the rest under a $1.

As for hitting, you have a very ballpark dependent hitter in Werth, and making matters worse, you're in a left-handed slanted park, so it's a double whammy. My guess is that by year end, if the team remains the same, your road record will be better than your home record will.
