Ricky Romero started and lost game #30 pitching for the Wahoos:

Ricky Romero started and won game #31 pitching for the Pumpers after being picked up: http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/stratomatic/league/boxscore.html?group_id=151433&g_id=182

Same league and consecutive games. No evidence of fatigue. Didn't realize that you could get so well rested so quickly.

Wierd. Could you send this to Bernie, if you haven't already done so?

I believe if you drop a player, any fatigue (but not injury) is erased. So, what happened is quite possible. This might be the case if the player is traded as well, but I'm not sure.

Obviously, it's not realistic, but it does simplify trading for or picking up pitchers a bit.

I've seen it happen a bunch of times. Once a SP is traded or dropped and picked up by another team, HAL starts his clock from full rest. That's how you can see a SP start 42 games in a season.

(edited to add: and coyote303 gets the answer seconds before my slow fingers can hit "post")

Wow I never knew that. If someone drops a Starting Pitcher and you pick him up you don't have to wait till he gets full rest?

Yes, that was definitely the scenario - he changed teams. Does not make any realistic sense as noted. Would think this should not be a hard thing to fix (he should need his rest whether on the same team or different teams), but what do I know about the programming part. I will send it on to Bernie.
