I just won my 8th in a row and have an 11 game lead after 57 games. Any of you had any teams that get off to such a hot start?

I will admit that I have been getting a lot of favorable rolls, but if not for 2 one run games the streak could have been 15 in a row....including this 20 inning gem:

I had a 2004 or 2005 team that started 18-3 one season. I'm trying to find it so I can post it for you.

I finished with either a high 90's or 100 win season, but the most memorable part was that Pedro Martinez finished with 20+wins and 1 save. He got the save when he came in to close out a game that went something like 20 innings.

I'll keep looking so I can post, but it's a lot of tams to go through.

OK - man how the years an the teams all blur together.

I still haven't found the 18-3 start team, but after what I've discovered I question even that.

The team I was looking for did however finish with 103 wins, and Pedro did get his save to top off his 22 wins on the season.

However - this team didn't start well at all. And Pedro's save came in an 11 inning game not some marathon.

If anyone can show me how to post team links again I'll be happy to show you these. I'll still look for the 18-3 start, just to see hwo they actually did turn out.

That is a great start. Unfortunately, you will probably come back to earth. I just think that it's really difficult to be dominant over a whole season with an $80 cap. You could still win 100, which is pretty dam good. If you were to maintain your current pace over a whole season, you can start giving lessons. I'll sign up.

Go to the League statistics page and then click on your team from there. The link should have the league/team ID # instead of team.html
