The 2011 season set is coming next week! Here's a full preview of the ballpark ratings!

[b:9d95bdd5fe]Note:[/b:9d95bdd5fe] This image was initially posted with a mistake. Wrigley Field is [b:9d95bdd5fe]1-11[/b:9d95bdd5fe] for Singles vs. both L and R. It was originally showing as 1 for Singles vs. R. Thanks to Spider 67 for the catch.

Looks like Cleveland might be a popular site to play baseball this year.

Should Wrigley be BPS "11" vs RHP rather than "1"?

Predictions on the Most Popular Ballparks

Postby Al Hogg » Sat Mar 03, 2012 1:32 am

Edited following Bernie's Wrigley Field correction; it won't be as popular if it is 11-11-12-9.

In no particular order:

Yankee - Highest BPHRs
Coors - Best overall hitting park
Great American - Sluggers park with big righty advantage
Progressive - Biggest lefty BPHR advantage
Petco - Best pitchers park
Fenway - Singles park with big righty advantage

As the Splinter said, at least we have some variation this year. The 2010 choices were moderately neutral, or neutrally moderate.

The Ballpark Effect sheet purchased in January shows Chicago NL (Wrigley) as:
[size=9:d852c3b483]Chicago (NL) L Single* 1-11 Lineout(2b) 12-20 L Homerun 1-12 Flyball(rf) B 13-20
R Single* 1-11 Lineout(ss) 12-20 R Homerun 1-9 Flyball(lf) B 10-20[/size:d852c3b483]

Bernie's chart here shows a "1" vs. R.

Which is correct?

BAH! I made a typo. You're right - Wrigley is 1-11 for Singles vs. both sides.

Could you please let me know if I made any more typos? I don't have a quality assurance team here...
