Site rebuild teaser part 5

Site rebuild teaser part 5

Here's a nice little addition that will be coming with the site rebuild.

On Team roster pages in non-DH leagues, there'll be a new row, collapsed by default:

... click on it to expand a section showing your pitchers' stats at the plate, right there underneath all the rest of your hitters' stats. Each pitcher's hitting card rating is also included for handy reference:

These stats will be complete and retroactive for all existing leagues at switchover (unlike some other of the new stats that we won't start keeping until then; I'll specify later).

Whee!

(p.s. You'll notice that there's also another expandable row - "8 players no longer on roster" - that reveals a section that you already have now; it'll just be accessed more intuitively.)

This is great -- but why oh why are you sitcking to the archaic 1890s tradition of listing "ab r h" in that order, instead of "ab h r" (or "ab h something-else")?

Even as an 8-year-old new baseball fan I knew that that didn't make any sense in box-scores.

Thanks for everything, though.

Tradition matters. It's still done that way pretty much everywhere else.

Nice work Bernie.
