Amazing no-hitter by Verlander

He went 10 innings and faced the minimum. He allowed only one baserunner due to an error, coincidentally by him, but promptly swept it up with a double play ball on the next batter. He struck out 11, and threw only 121 pitches!

His real-life teammate, Doug Fister, nearly matched him. He allowed only three hits through 9, but fatigued in the 10th giving up three hits to load the bases before giving way to Sam Lecure, who promptly served up a grand slam to the man that regularly catches Verlander and Fister in real-life, Alex Avila!

I enjoyed watching it in the play by play mode in the league scores this AM....very impressive!
