*** BOTTOM OF INNING 6 ***
0 T.Helton 6-9 Strike Out b-0 F9
1 J.Weeks 1-5 Triple (CF) b-0 F9
2 C.Beltran 2-6 Double (CF) b-2 F8
SUBSTITUTE P - Sergio Santos (role: Middle Man)
2 2 A.Callaspo 6-10 Strike Out b-0 F9

A one out triple, followed by a double and Weeks does not score. How does that happen? Lost a one run game in a battle for first place, so I am a bit frustrated. Have played Strat for years, and I can't think of any way a speedy runner does not score on a double.

It looks like the "b-0" included in Weeks' line indicates that he was thrown out at the plate trying to stretch his triple into an inside the park homer.

thanks for clarifying. I did not think of that explanation.

Don't feel bad, I got out when my runner on 2nd attempted to go to third on a single. I didn't understand the scoring and when I posted it was decided that I had an extremely rare play where the batted ball had hit the baserunner.

It happened again to me just a couple days later.

well I got even. Fired my third base coach after missing the playoffs this season by one game.

A batted ball hitting the baserunner is actually NOT extremely rare.
