How are playoffs games scheduled? (1 per day?) are there any off days for pitcher rest purposes?

"PLAYOFFS? Don't talk to me about playoffs. Are you kidding me? PLAYOFFS?"
That was my imitation of Jim Mora.
There's an explanation of them in the HELP section which you probably can't access now during the transition.
But I'm sure someone more experienced in "PLAYOFFS?" will be along shortly to 'splain them to you.

If I recall correctly -- can't confirm over this transition weekend -- there are 2 rest days before the playoffs begin.
In both semis and finals, games 1 & 2 are played the first night, games 3 & 4 are played the second night, and then any additional games required are played at 1 per night

Just adding to what tcochran said:
The number of rest days between the semis and the finals varies depending how many games the semis lasted. If you sweep, you will get three days rest, and if the series went seven, you won't get any.

thanks. Hopefully I will find out. If I remember right, I have an 8 game lead with 24 to play. This is my first full season.
