I wonder if anyone has been in a situation like this:

I carry only 5 SP and one of them (Hampton) is hurt for the next 10 games. Tonight Hampton misses his first start (out of 3) and HAL puts K-Rod (my closer) as a starter in my first game. I cannot make any changes in my per game starter list since none of my other relievers can start. I wonder how will K-Rod do. Can he pitch 9 inings... I gues I will find out. I'm also courious to know if he will start the other two starts that Hampton would miss.

Looks like an odd situation to me. :?

I believe Hal uses the RP with the best R rating.

Over all the teams I've had this year I think I'm 3-1 with relievers starting. I've seen Lidge go 9 innings twice (not for me).

It will interesting to know... Maybe I can get out of 3rd place with K-Rod as a starter.

My prediction: K-Rod goes 5 innings, allowing a run or two, and strikes out 8. Good luck, I hope it doesn't kill your bullpen for the next several games.

In the 2001 game, since I do not have Franco listed as my closer and he is listed only as R1C1, Hal seems to have no problem leaving Franco in for 5 or 6 innings if he is doing well which you would think is goes against the Reliever rankings especially with other relievers available. But, if he is doing fine why complain I always say.

Like I said, tell us how he does.

I can't wait to find out! But as you guys know, it's Saturday and we have not played the games... I hope they get the computer problem solved soon. Still waiting :roll:
