Hitting and defense look nice. I think your pitchers are too slanted one way or the other, especially with only 5 starters. Only 5 starters doesn't allow you flexibility and the possibility of your rotation facing a lineup of hitters that doesn't fit well against their better side. Getting a sixth starter will allow you the option of mixing and matching at least.

I am pretty happy w/ the hitting, a little tricky how I wanna set them up in the lineup however. I got killed in my draft w/ my pitching & there was not much quality left even after waivers. So this staff as unbalanced as they are may have to pull me through the season. Im hoping that ryan, rodriguez, & ayala can seal those games for me. this look like at least an over .500 club??

Hello. I like your offense in Skydome. However, I think you need better starters. I would drop Beltran who I think is way overpriced and put it towards a starter or 2. I am not an expert but I think doing this will balance your team more. Also, maybe a little off your relief towards starters as well. Good luck!

Great hitting, but your pitching won't hold up, I'm thinking.

1. Weakness against switch hitters, especially power switch hitters. Greinke is the exception, but I just wouldn't trust Greinke in SkyDome, considering his BP homers. I think you SPs will lose a lot of games for you, before the bullpen gets a chance to factor into it.
2. A lot of ballpark homers in your starting rotation, especially considering your park and the parks in your division. You've got good defense up the middle, so I'd go with a non-* starting rotation (mixture of * and non-* tends to dilute your value overall), there are usually decent-quality non-* SPs available, and usually someone will give you a quality non-* starter for Willis, and I'd go instead with guys who might put runners on 1st a LITTLE more often, but give up less BP homers (Mulder or Weaver types), and rely on your strength up the middle to get your SPs out of jams, and also fish the FA pool for some reverse pitchers (RHP better vs. lefties, LHP better vs. righties).
3. I agree with a comment made above--it's difficult to win with Beltran. He is not one of the better values, IMHO.

I'll keep it short and simple.........
Offense- Very good. Concider swapping out Giles
Defense-good
SP- Fair
RP- Good

A pretty balanced team. SP though low $, are ,more or less, bargin picks.
This team will compete.

My prediction....87-75, wild card. Good luck..........Dennis

I'm not as optimistic as Dennis. 84-78, misses playoffs.

Beltran in the Skydome for me...

I like him... :D

Look at Bonderman as well. Make sure though, he faces a righty balanced hitting team.

I too like the hitting on this team, but the back of your pitching rotation could use some work.

Personally, there ar estil some good SP out there for your park, Both Rusch and Wise are decent. The problem is where would you cut to afford it?

Beltran -> Hunter?
Posada -> Cota or Buck?
or downgrade the bullpen?

That point I won't touch, but there is some good SP left if you look.
