Got my cards and new CD game today.
Right away I deleted the key code to a server, wth does that mean? I can't play the game as it does not load. Key code needed. I still have the code but it does not play.
After that is resolved, how do I sim games? How do you accurately sim seasons since the players will be so different from team to team?
Does simming really tell you anything? I saw some of the true masters talking about it so I am sure there is something to it but how to do it accurately?
A little help plz.
Jay

for all the good it's done me in 05!!!!
not sure what your problem would be jay, i've not had any probs loading or running the game. but have alway been very careful entering the key code.
certain settings need to be correct to get close the TSN SOM version... there was a thread on the old boards about this but i hear they're long gone now.
i'll check when i get home tonight to see what i've got set, perhaps some others can chime in with what it should be.

I usually set up my division only for simming. You do need to adjust the computer generated rotations and lineups so it does take a little time.
There is usually a fairly good swing of results but it does give a some indiciation of success but no guarantee.
FM, if you had the SOM settings I'd appreciate that also.

I just do my division as well. allows me to see any real holes...
some settings:
main rules: max level.
stealing: superadvanced
injuries: use injuries but not super advanced
gba: allow on pitchers card
BP,weather, clutch all on
strategy: super advanced
use closer rule
pitcher fatigue: super adv w pitch count
uncheck all max rules.
linupe usage: primar for both.
turn injury jusage on.
